Alex Wright is a retired Air Force fighter pilot with over 5000 hours of flying time, mainly in the Air Force A-7 and F-16 aircraft. Alex served in the regular Air Force and the Air National Guard for over 32 years, finally retiring in 2005.
A Louisiana native, Alex has lived in Tucson since 1985 when he was assigned to the 162 Tactical Fighter Wing, Arizona Air National Guard. Alex was married to the late Kathy Wright for 35 years and enjoyed living near his two children and six grandchildren in Tucson. He is heavily involved in local volunteer and charity work in southern Arizona.
