Biography

Andrea A. “Andy” Muscarello – grew up in Chicago, graduated from Parks College of St. Louis University in 1957.  Commissioned a 2d Lt. in the Air Force upon graduation.

Served eight years on active duty flying the B-47 Stratojet.

After leaving active duty service, he completed 29 years with American Airlines, where he flew the Electra, 727, 707, DC-10 and MD-11. At American, he served as a Check Airman and Instructor Pilot.

The first twelve years with American, he flew with the Illinois Air National Guard in the KC-97 and KC-135.

As a Guard Instructor Pilot he served as Chief of Standardization, retiring as a Lt.Col. with 25,000 flying hours both military and civilian.
